To sponsor 4 workshops to train the entire permanent 80 member faculty in the pedagogy of writing led by experts, the project should serve as a model for other small colleges.

To hold four two-week faculty workshops which would train the entire permanent faculty of the School of Arts and Sciences in the teaching of writing.
