A Program in Cultural Studies

An experiment in undergraduate cross-cultural studies with the following characteristics: it will be aimed at general educational rather than specialist training; it will provide clusters of courses; students may take a single cluser; the main organizing context will be the humanities; the program will bring together faculty members from many disciplines and areas. Each semester and in the summer, the University will offer a group of undergraduate courses, supplemented by lectures on a particular culture or geographical area.
