To develop five elementary school humanities curriculum packets which will a) provide opportunities for students to explore basic humanities concepts and their modes of expression revealed in works of art; b) enhance the existing humanities curriculum of the Edina schools and increase the capability of the MIA and other community cultural institutions to act as a cultural resource to elementary schools; c) serve as a model for curriculum planning endeavors between school systems and cultural institutions.
