To complete a study of Panini's Sanskrit grammar, reconstructing the linguistic theory implicit in this grammar from the way in which the facts of Sanskrit are analyzed. Study to contribute, therefore, to the clarification of the compositional history of the grammar, bringing the findings of the study to bear on current issues in linguistics.
