A seminar devoted to study of the influence of religious ideas on American political life and institution. The seminar will he concerned with important political-religious movements of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, with the writings of significant American religious and political thinkers of that time period, and with the fate of the ideas crystallized in the late eighteenth c. during subsequent American history.
