To support research that will result in a non-critical edition of two of the nineteen books of De Proprietatibus Rerum--the most popular of the medieval encyclopedias. These two books deal with Bartholomaeus' views on the nature of man. The DPR was the source that all but the professional turned to for the philosophical and medical opinioons of the ancients.
