To complete the research and begin the writing of a full length biography of Arna Wendell Bontemps, a prolific black poet, short story writer and novelist. PI plans to employ modern methods of biography which present readers with an image of Bontemps as a living man, by clarifying those preoccupations, tensions and behavioral patterns that occurred most frequently in his life.
