Mel Lawrence (Project Director: October 1978 to present)

“The Pueblo Revolt" is the pilot project of a series of dramatic radio programs presenting events in Native American history that are not well-known but have significantly effected American history. This grant is for the technical production of the two-hour radio drama that was researched and written with funds provided by NEH (PN-29599-77-1170). Plans include the duplication of the program on reel-to-reel and cassette tapes as well as disc recordings in order to reach the widest possible audience: Indian/Anglo communities, secondary schools and universities.
