CONTINUATION OF THE MAHABHARATA TRANSLATION

To continue, and if possible, to complete, the ongoing, translation of the Mahabarata. The grant period will see the publication of Volume IV, the translation and publication of Volumes IV-VI, and translation of what will comprise Volume VII. Indices of proper names and thematic subjects will be compiled, along with a thematic bibliography. Work on the concluding Essay, an interpretation of the Mahabarata will begin.
