A comparative study of military behavior and organization and the interrelation of political, social and economic changes and interdependence with changes in military practice. Different patterns of military practice superimposed by neighboring great powers had repercussions in the decision making processes, attitudes and actions of various social classes, as well as civilian-military relationships. This study hopes to define the nature of these changes more clearly.
