To support an exhibition of the works of the "Spanish Forger," a prolific, skillful, and interesting 19th century forger of medieval panels and manuscripts. Because the "Spanish Forger" did not simply copy known works but created "period" pieces within the framework of his own understanding of medieval art, his works can be seen as a reflection of the sensibility and taste of his era. In addition, any new scientific techniques used to analyze his works would be published and disseminated.
