To revise and expand the MLA International Bibliography, recognized as the most important research tool in literary and linguistic studies. Computer techniques will be used to speed information retrieval. It is hoped that an updated Bibliography will be ready for its over 100,000 users mostly scholars and teachers, by 1980.
