The National Civil Rights Museum is applying for an NEH Challenge Grant in United States History and Culture in the amount of $750,000 to establish the Lorraine Endowment Fund for the Humanities. The grant, if awarded, will be matched by $2,250,000 raised in non-federal dollars, raising a total of $3 million. The Museum will continue its fundraising efforts until a total of $10 million is raised to sustain and enhance humanities programs and activities. |
