The Collin County Historical Society (CCHS) will purchase a ten-drawer, full suspension map case, and acid free folders in which to store its maps, posters, oversized photographs, and artwork. This is part of a $90,000 collections care program including library and archive compacting storage and new collections management software. CCHS has a $40,000 challenge grant from the McKinney Community Development Corporation (MCDC) for collections storage. This NEH grant will qualify CCHS for an additional $5,000 from the MCDC. |
