The J. Edgar and Louise S. Monroe Library at Loyola University New Orleans seeks funding to engage Ms. Kara McClurken, a Preservation Services Librarian from the Southeastern Library Network (SOLINET), to make an onsite preservation needs assessment of its Special Collections and Archives holdings. The assessment will consider the collections, housing, security, storage environment and preservation strategies of Special Collections and Archives. Following her onsite visit, Ms. McClurken will issue a report and a draft preservation plan making recommendations relating to the conditions, policies and practices of the Monroe Library. |
