A preservation assessment of the historic house museum's collection of decorative arts, household objects, jewelry, and tools made of iron, bronze, silver, and other metals. These holdings date from the early 19th century through the mid-20th century and are exhibited in the National Historic Landmark Tudor Place, which was the home of six generations of the Peter family.

The main objective of the proposed work is a survey of metal objects to establish priorities for treatment and to suggest the optimal storage for the collection. The survey, performed on site under the direction of the Tudor Place Collections Manager, will include: Object registration information provided by Tudor House Photograph of each object Condition assessment of object Priority for conservation treatment Proposals for treatment Estimated treatment hours Storage recommendations Environmental requirements
