These materials are used by nearly 5,000 scholars, students, teachers, and family historians annually and include a number of individual treasures, such as an original draft of the U.S. Constitution.
The Georgia Historical Society (GHS) seeks NEH support to contract with a qualified preservation consultant who will conduct a general preservation assessment of GHS collections and draft a long-range collections care and preservation plan focusing on the care, storage and preservation of the Society's archival collections. Grant activities will result in a written comprehensive long-range plan for collections care and preservation of GHS's archival collections. |
