General operating support for state or territorial humanities council

The Rhode Island Council for the Humanities seeds, supports, and strengthens public history, cultural heritage, civic education, and community engagement by and for all Rhode Islanders. The Council advances the public humanities sector through grantmaking as well as through the facilitation of shared visions, collaboration to achieve sustainability and resiliency, and partnerships to bring together resources, to innovate, and to scale initiatives for greater impact.
