Consultant will address problem of integrating ethical issues into existing medical courses and clinical departments. The question of a case-oriented or theoretical approach must be resolved before effective integration can be achieved. Although a Philosophy and Medicine program is underway, and more attention has been paid to the cultural and psycho-social aspects of health care, it is hoped that these concerns will reach all areas of medical education.
