To develop an instuctional program which will fulfill more adequately the aims of liberal arts education. The Program for Integral Education will have four major components: 1) Freshman advising which will give coherence to the student's first year. 2) Integral course units in the sophomore year. These units will provide an interdisciplinary group of courses replacing the present distribution requirements. 3) Interdisciplinary seminars in the senior year; and 4) a faculty enrichment program to enable the staff to engage in interdisciplinary work.
