The plans for curriculum development include: 1) cluster courses around issues that are germane to USC's largely pre-professional undergraduate student body; 2) encourage the Humanities and USC's impressive professional and multidisciplinary programs to integrate their activities through address these common issues; and 3) emphasize styles of scholarship that demonstrate the compatability of theoretical and applied dimensions of classical teaching and learning in the humanities.
