Course Related Library Instruction Program: Three-Way Involvement

To establish a Course-Related Library Instruction Program in order to improve the utilization of library resources and services, to improve the quality of instruction through fuller use of library resources, to reach additional students each year, and to broaden librarians' perceptions and their roles in the instructional program of the University. Teaching strategies used in the Program will include: 1) general library orientation; 2) general lectures outlining the library instruction program; 3) preparation and dissemination of teaching and learning packages; 4) validation of teaching methods and effectiveness of library instruction; and 5) continuous analysis and revision of teaching method.
