To institute a model regional studies center developing educational projects among the academic, cultural, archival and scientific institutions in the Mid-Hudson Valley.

To plan and institute a model regional studies center which will originate, develop and administer, and fund innovative educational projects in the humanities among education, cultural, archival, and scientific institutions in the Mid-Hudson Valley, and with their memberships and public at large.
