To establish a center for the collection cataloging, and dissemination of slide reproductions on health care history for teaching purposes at different educational levels.

To establish a center to collect and catalogue photographic images of medicine and health care and to disseminate slide reproductions of such images to educators. Images will be catalogued according to photographic criteria, after the development of a useable iconography as a methodological tool. Tentative topics for slide sets include "Images of Women in Medicine."
