To strengthen writing in all departments, especially the humanities, by training both faculty and students in writing skills. Summer workshop will be conducted to prepare faculty members to run a writing consultancy for all campus personnel; students will become apprentices to the consultancy, and writing tutorials will be established for those who need extra assistance. Two new graduate courses on composition will be offered.
