To develop an interdisciplinary program offering and integrated approach to the liberal arts in the context of Alaska's culture and physical environment. Varied teaching techniques, short paper assignments, student journal writing will be used, with remedial help offered through the Counseling Center and Learning Laboratory. In addition, students will edit and publish a student anthology reflecting individual perceptions of key social issues addressed in the course.
