The perfecting of an experimental interdisciplinary program called Major Figures and Their Impact. Three courses will be offered during the planning period--each wil represent a unique presentation of the interface of the sciences and the humanities. "Einstein: His Life and Impact on Western Civilizaiton" and "Darwin: Literature and History of Ideas" are two course offerings. The program will help students interrelate the sciences and the humanities.
