To develop a cost effective and highly replicable beginning program in French for elementary school use. The college's educational communications department will be utilized to produce and distribute easy to use, educationally sound, and low cost F.L.E.S. programs based on the principle of individualized instruction; thirty student learning packets including 30-1/2 hour videotapes for public broadcasting, 5250 audio tapes, 4,500 student manuals and 175 teachers manuals will be distributed.
