To conduct a program in which visiting humanists--university professors, creative artists, and others--work with selected schools who have applied to NEH for help. The NHF makes possible formal and informal situtations in which school teachers and more experienced humanitist can share their common concerns with humanistic values as the bedrock of the educational process and come to grips with the problems of handling the humanistic disciplines in today's school.
