To provide 60 secondary school teachers of French, German, and Spanish the opportunity to increase their knowledge of the language and its culture, to improve their language fluency, and to plan and develop teaching techniques and materials which will make them more effective teachers. Institute will include 3 courses: Culture, Conversation, and Composition; Audio-Visual Techniques for Foreign Language Instruction; Enhancing Communicative Abilities in the Foreign Language Classroom.
