To offer an institute-workshop for inter-disciplinary teams of high school teachers (a French teacher, a social science or art teacher) and curriculum specialists in the analysis of the culture of modern France. The program would consist of two courses and a workshop at which the participants would design new curricular materials under the guidance of the faculty.
