To relate the linguistic, aesthetic, and socio-political values of antiquity to current issues in the lives of urban pupils. To provide salaries for itinerant Latin teachers; to develop a TV series to bring Latin instruction to elementary schools; to continue curriculum development in Classical Greek in secondary schools; to develop a study to evaluate effects of Latin on 5th and 6th grade pupils.
