To establish a national Philosophy Curriculum Center to encourage the teaching of philosophy in high schools. The major functions of the center would be to develop high-school philosophy curriculum materials; test them in classrooms; conduct related research; and undertake supportive activities. To plan a 1973 summer workshop for secondary school teachers and graduate philosophy majors to promote the teaching of high school philosophy.
