FAIN: FA-12358-78

To write a psychobiography of Freud which will show that his central discoveries and theories arose from an interaction between the pressures of socio-political crisis from 1897-1899 and the religious and intellectual beliefs and value structures which he absorbed in his youth. PI will use those dreams of his own which Freud includes and partially analyzes in the Interpretation of Dreams as evidence to support his thesis.
