Study will be concerned with the humanistic legacy of Friedrich Nietzache's philosophy, especially to investigate the relationship of his thought to the great humanistic movements of German Classical-Romantic tradition. Purpose is to bring the message which Nietzche contains for the American student of today into a sharper perspective. Will lead to scholarly publication and improved teaching.
