To publish a book on the life work of William Morris. The major thesis of the book is that the life work of Morris, not only in the decorative arts, printing, and political action, but also in literature, constitutes a philosophically unified whole, which was the outgrowth of his lifelong impulse to primitivistic reform and his unwavering convictions that art is intrinsically and unseperably related to life.
