To write a book that would be from a scholarly view a thoroughly reliable presentation of the Francois Vase and from a pedagogical point of view an interesting introduction to Greek Mythology. Thanks to the cyclical narrative so characteristic of archaic art, the vase provides a lead in for every aspect of Greek Mythology. PI will also explore the possibilities of historical allusiveness on the vase.
