Completion of a Book on the Sonnet as a Poetic From in 20th Century Hispanic Poetry

To complete a book on the use of the sonnet form by 20th century Hispanic poets. The book is directed at two objectives: (l) the development of a theory of the sonnet as a poetic form (2) the study of the use of the sonnet by individual Hispanic poets of the 20th century to determine existing relationships in form, content and poetic language. Some of the poets studied include: Gerardo Diego, Jorge Guillen and Octavio Paz.
