Conflict or Cultures Among Sicilian Anmericans During the Process of Assimiliation

The study would follow the group historically from the first migrations at the turn of the century to 1960. It would explore the old-world culture and the effects assimilation had upon the new arrivals as to their acceptance of the new culture and their resistance to the new culture. The study would conclude with an exploration of the second generation's reaction to assimilation.
