The seminar will deal with the current developments in philosophical anthropology in the historical context of philosophical reflection from medieval "speculative psychologyā€¯ to modern "problem of the self". Among topics for study are the relationship between biological functioning and socio-historical development and the contribution of philosophical anthropology toward the unification of the human sciences.
