Retention of staff to develop public humanities programming around current and future exhibitions.

The Washington County Museum of Fine Arts respectfully requests $127,526.00 from the NEH CARES Cultural Organizations Public Programming Grant to retain staff who will develop public humanities programming for the period of July 1—December 31, 2020. An NEH CARES grant will greatly assist the WCMFA in underwriting salaries of at-risk humanities professionals and a new Curatorial Assistant who will plan programs aassociated with current and future exhibitions and enhance WCMFA’s online programming and access to its art collections.
