A program to increase the involvement of the Japanese-American community with the libraries in the area through a series of lec- tures, video presentations, demonstrations and workshops and by increasing the libraries' Japanese language materials.

To increase the involvement of the San Joaquin Valley Japanese-American community with the libraries in the area while making the non-Japanese community more aware of Japanese history and culture in the development of Valley Life.
