Protest and Progress: Black History Through Literature

To support a series of programs which will examine 20th-century black literature. Programs will employ three formats: (1) In-theater talks based on the production of a new play by Toni Morrison, (2) lectures in public libraries, and (3) scholar-led reading and discussion groups.
