To plan exhibits for the Society's new museum which would give area residents a sense of the cultural heritage of their community. The Society would strive for a synthesis of the ideas of both professional and community members. Bonner County has a population of 25,000; its county seat has a population of 6,000 and is a regional business and recreation center. There are no colleges or universities in the county; museum would therefore provide a much-needed cultural and intellectual center for the area.
