To support an exhibition depicting the Newsom brothers' contributions to the development of the west coast environment. Individual building designs, land speculation, speculative housing, and new town designs are a few of the areas where architects (and especially the Newsoms) were involved in economic, social, and political aspects of late 19th century growth.
