FAIN: GY-10459-77

Dina Galli
Weber State University (Ogden, UT 84408-0001)

To produce a report that will define and depict the female sex-role identity as it has developed as a function and result of the powerful social and religious traditions of Mormon culture. Members of a class in women's history will be trained in survey techniques and will gather quantifiable data on female sex-role identities. The project director will conduct family socialization interviews. Data will be analyzed using computer programs of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences. An article or monograph will be produced. A women's study program on the Mormon cultural hearth may be developed.
