Critical Analysis of Two American Composers: Ives and Ruggles

To conduct an in-depth critical analysis of the works of two composers who constituted a major revolution in 20th century American music. The analysis will be based on the Hodos computer technique. In addition, a comprehensive biographical and cultural study of Ives and Ruggles will be written to explore the musical and Ideological relationships that the two men shared.
