To support a series of workshops on the campuses of the community colleges in the state of Washington to develop an appreciation for the role of the humanities in lower division courses.

To support a statewide effort conducted through 27 community colleges to increase humanities enrollments, develop new courses, coordinate humanities andoccupational offerings, and increase scholarships and internships for humanities students.
