To inventory and develop a plan to preserve the historical source material of the Hawaiian sugar industry, which has shaped every aspect of Hawaii's history. Funds are for hiring trained staff, including an archivist, to manage the inventory, prepare a preservation plan and oversee such emergency microfilming as is necessary.
