To locate, microfilm, and publish the extensive European archives of documents pertaining to the Cherokee. Maps, censuses, military reports, letters, and language dictionaries exist in England, Spain, France and Mexico. Collection of these dispersed materials will take two years. The result will be a published finding guide and accessible microfilm copies of the documents.
